Do I need any Tagalog to start?
Not at all. You can set your difficulty level and use Taglish (mixing English and Tagalog) so you're comfortable from your very first chat, then dial it up as you grow.
Is TagTalk good for busy schedules?
Yes — that's the point. Practice on the go in small pockets of time, with no fixed class schedule required. You keep progressing even if you can't commit to a regular instructor slot.

How does the AI practice work?
You chat with a virtual instructor about topics you choose. Grammar is checked in real time with inline corrections and short explanations, so you learn while you converse.
What is the daily journal?
You write short entries in Tagalog, get AI feedback on each error, and revise as many times as you like. When you're happy, you record yourself reading it aloud and can submit it to a real teacher for human review.
Do the lessons adapt to me?
Yes. Lessons are generated from your actual mistakes across chats and journals, so they target exactly what you need — complete with examples, exercises and an answer key.
Can I track my progress?
Absolutely. You get date-range progress reports and a stats dashboard with practice time tracking to keep you motivated.

TagTalk keeps humans at the center. You connect with teachers by email, control what each can see, message them 1:1, and share journals or recordings for feedback. You can also subscribe to their packages for regular guidance.

Yes. Teachers keep 100% of what students pay for their packages. TagTalk is funded by the membership, not by taking a cut of teachers' earnings.
How do I control my privacy with teachers?
You choose what each connected teacher can see — chats, journals, lessons or stats — with per-teacher privacy controls. You're always in charge of what you share.
Billing & membership
Is my card charged during the trial?
No. The 30-day trial is free, and you can cancel anytime before it ends without being charged. After the trial it's $9.99/month.
What's free forever?
AI conversation practice and grammar corrections are always free. Premium features (journals with review, lessons, reports, teacher messaging) are part of the membership.
How do payments work?
Payments and recurring billing are handled securely by Stripe. You'll get email receipts, and can update your card anytime from your account.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like — you keep premium access until the end of your billing period, then return to the free AI chat.
