TagTalk has a strict zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or facilitates harm against minors. Any such content will be removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on TagTalk and will result in immediate account termination and law enforcement referral:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — Any image, video, text, or AI-generated content that sexually depicts a minor
- Grooming — Using the platform to build inappropriate relationships with minors, solicit personal information from minors, or gain their trust for exploitative purposes
- Sexual solicitation of minors — Any attempt to engage a minor in sexual conversation or to arrange sexual contact
- Trafficking — Content that facilitates the trafficking or exploitation of children
- Exploitation via AI chat — Using TagTalk's AI chat feature to generate any of the above categories of content, regardless of whether real or fictional minors are referenced
How We Detect & Respond
Automated detection: AI chat content passes through safety filters designed to identify and block attempts to generate harmful content, including content involving minors. These filters operate in real time.
Human review: Flagged content and accounts reported by users are reviewed by our team. We do not rely solely on automation for child safety.
Immediate removal: Any content identified as CSAM or related prohibited material is removed immediately — before appeal, before review. Preservation of child safety takes absolute priority.
Law enforcement reporting: We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline, as required by US federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. We also report to local authorities in the Philippines where applicable.
Account termination: Accounts associated with CSAM or child exploitation are permanently terminated. The user is banned from creating new accounts.
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
If you encounter any content on TagTalk that you believe sexually exploits or endangers a child, please report it immediately:
- Email: support@tagtalk.ph — mark the subject line "Child Safety Report"
- NCMEC CyberTipline: www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline
Child safety reports are treated as the highest priority. We will respond and take action within 24 hours of receiving a report.
Age Requirements
TagTalk requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. If we learn that a user under 13 has an account, we will delete it and all associated data promptly.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has created an account without permission should contact us at support@tagtalk.ph.
Proactive Measures
TagTalk takes the following proactive steps to maintain a safe environment:
- AI chat sessions are monitored by automated safety classifiers that block harmful content generation
- Our virtual instructor system prompts are designed to redirect off-topic or inappropriate requests
- We review and update our safety filters regularly as new threats and tactics emerge
- All team members with access to user content are trained on child safety responsibilities
This policy is reviewed and updated regularly. For questions about child safety on TagTalk, contact support@tagtalk.ph.
